Who We Are
Andy Fairgrieve is the founder and principal of Prima Vista. He has had a varied career in the television industry, starting out as a clapper loader on documentary films and progressing through focus puller to camera operator, Director of Photography, Director and Producer.
Andy's work includes – Horizon, Panorama, Blue Peter, Arena, Trust Me....I'm a Doctor, Tomorrow's World for the BBC. Right to Reply, Designs On Your Bra, Equinox – Going Downhill Fast for Channel 4. Various US projects – Road to Perdition for Bravo, Lord of the Rings press launch for New Line, The Making of....Robin Hood Prince of Thieves for Warner Brothers, Tyra Banks Show for Image Associates and Biography – Donatella Versace for A&E, And projects have won more than a hundred international awards for clients.
Hundreds of commercials and corporates including projects for BP, Shell, IBM, McKinsey, MAN Group, RBS, HSBC, Vauxhall, Diageo, Harveys Furniture Stores, B&Q, Bath Spa University and Blackpool Consortium.
As the technology has evolved it has allowed him to bring his experience to the entire process of film making. Skilled freelancers are brought in to key roles when needed, allowing for high production values to be maintained but without the associated high production overheads. The result is a contemporary, agile, cost effective, flexible approach to film production.
